For this project I made shadow puppets in collaboration with Tim Gosley who also puppeteerd for the performance. Our work was commissioned by guitarist Jacob Cordover to accompany a reading of some of the poems from Platero by Juan Ramon Jimenez wile he played accompanying pieces written for guitar. We used a multi level glass table with a light table underneath to create layered depth with the puppets and backgrounds, which was puppeteerd and live filmed, and screened onto the wall behind the performers.
